Who is considered "extraordinary ability" in an EB1 Green Card application?

A: The law defines "extraordinary ability" as a level of expertise indicating that the individual is one of that small percentage who has risen to the very top of the field. Any profession in the sciences, arts, education, business or athletics-in reality, just about any profession at all-can serve as the basis of an EB-1 attempt to qualify as "extraordinary" in ones field.
